A Long-Awaited Happening | Chapter 15
Chapter 15
The kiss wasn’t lust-filled. It was a tender, caring, loving kiss, and both of them knew it. Neither of them had ever felt so comfortable with what they were currently experiencing, and they wished that the moment never stopped. Until a lack of oxygen forced them to break their intimate moment. Breaking up, catching air, both of them looked at each other, and noticed something about the other. Lucas just now noticed that Damian wasn’t blushing. Something he expected the fox to do, but it seemed like Damian was as comfortable as could be. Damian, on the other hand, noticed Lucas’s eyes specifically. They were still the same bright green, but they had a sparkle in them that told Damian that Lucas had enjoyed every second of what just happened.
“Well, that was…”
-“Stop your talking, right now. You’re ruining the moment Damian.” Cutting off Damian’s initial reaction to what had just happened, Lucas didn’t want his friend to make things awkward. Again.
“Let’s just, enjoy this moment, embrace it, and never let it leave our memories. Okay, Damian?” Lucas asked.
-“I wouldn’t want to forget even if I was offered money for it.” The fox responded.
“So, are we…” Lucas started, and Damian answered before Lucas had even finished his question.
-“Yes, Lucas, we are.” He said, calmly.
Lucas gave Damian a quick peck on his cheek, and cuddled up with him immediately after. The time being past 12am, Damian notices that Lucas had become drowsy, and he let the wolf fall asleep in his arms. He then slowly and very carefully moved out from under Lucas and the blanket, and got up. Carefully lifting up the sleeping wolf, he took Lucas inside, where it was much warmer than in the open air of his backyard.
Damian manoeuvres the both of them around the house, upstairs, and to his bedroom, where he gently laid Lucas on his bed. He decides to wake Lucas up for a bit.
“Hey, sleepy-head. Wake up, you need to get ready for bed, instead of falling asleep like that.” Damian teased, even though he meant it well.
“Hmmm? Whu… What are you talking about? I’m already done.” Lucas replied, and Damian couldn’t tell whether it was because Lucas really wanted to go to sleep, or that it was the boy’s unconscious brain talking to him.
“Lucas, come on. You can’t sleep like that. Get up and get yourself ready properly.” This time Damian shook Lucas around slightly, but hard enough for the wolf to wake up, causing him to grunt.
“Uughhh you’re so mean Damian. Fiiiiine, I’ll get ready. Pro-per-ly.” He responded mockingly. Damian couldn’t do anything but laugh at his delirious partner.
The both of them moved into the bathroom, brushed their teeth, and washed their faces. Afterwards, Lucas moved downstairs to look for his backpack. His sleeping clothes were in there, as well as clean undergarments for the next day, just as he was instructed to do by Damian. Lucas then moved back to the bedroom, and started undressing himself. He failed to notice Damian creeping up on him, and let out an ‘eep’ when the fox grabbed him and pulled him in for a big hug. Lucas could immediately feel the well-defined muscles of Damian chest and arms, and accepted the hug immediately. He then turned around and moved onto his toes so that he could reach up. He gave Damian a little kiss and hugged him.
After breaking free from the hug, Damian lifted up Lucas, much to the wolf’s surprise, accompanied by a yelp from Lucas, and carried him over to the bed. As gentle as he was before, he wasn’t now. He literally threw, he didn’t drop, he threw Lucas onto the bed. Lucas immediately got comfortable, getting under the blankets, and almost immediately fell asleep again. Not before he wished Damian good night, and was wished good night by the fox himself. Damian then got in bed himself, and got close to Lucas. He moved into a spooning position, holding his partner close to him, and dozed off to sleep soon after. That night, both of them had the most wonderful dream they could have ever had, but nothing beat the feeling of finally being together.
A long-awaited happening, finally.
