SCP Foundation. Secure, Contain, Protect.
They have a variety of strange stories about the SCPs that the Foundation are responsible for, each having a number associated with it. SCP 507 for example is a young man who uncontrollably shifts into alternate realities/dimensions, whilst SCP 173 (the first ever SCP written) is a concrete statue that only moves (and kills) whilst not observed.
There’s a website with all the stories on it. If weird, disturbing or scary stories interest you, I suggest looking it up.

Given that Vitrin Core is still floating around and still is a danger?
Yeah, it's still an ongoing threat, even in current timeline.
Which makes me wonder - did any other planet in their Galaxy survive or did the Entity behind the Vitrin core manage to consume everything, except for that piece of an artificial rock, floating in the empty space, kicking for survival?

Well at least this time the Entity hasn't tried to flirt with Alfred as it was trying to eat him.
But does this count as the second Armageddon event?
This simplified history lesson Lars is giving while informative, does seem to make the events seem kind of jarring in a way I can't really explain.

I keep wondering why Alf, didn't imbue more people with white-holes as he did, all the rifts are connected in quantum or 4D space, meaning all the rifts are basically, the same rift. But only 1 is plugged in 3D space, where the other openings are basically 4D potholes in a 3D space.
There’s just something about the third panel that gets to me. Must be the fact that they just literally ‘fenced off’ the pit with a ordinary-looking fence. Then you have the fact that you have a couple of people there, just leaning on it casual as hell, whilst looking out at what amounts to a massive bite out of the planet. Really makes you wonder what’s going through their heads in that moment.
Baelin tries to make matter transmitter. Someone messes up power calculations, and ZAP. Rift in space.
Rift in space stays quiet for a bit, then starts trying to eat everything.
Alfred seals up rift after eating the Core and seeing Baelin being puppeted
Everything goes quiet for a few hundred thousand years
Vitrin entity goes active again. Cue freakouts
They discover it wasn't quiet - it had been eating things for lightyears around.
They try to destroy a rift with a bomb
Bomb just makes Vitrin Entity mad and it eats more of the planet before Alf can seal up the local rift again.
All the other rifts are still open and munching.
