This is part of an concept for an poomse/kata/form/drill for beginners in Tae Kwon Do; loosely based and modified from an very similar form I was taught.
The scanner did a number; but the main purpose of this is to practice balance, good biomechanics for three kicks (push, side, donkey) and their main variants, to train students to use kicks to create reaction space between themselves and opponents in a fight, to get them used to scanning their surroundings for dangers other then the single attacker they are engaging, and to drill a "divide and conquer" mentality in a fight (trade blows with one guy and get away from him and attack someone else before someone else can counter attack you.
