The drawback for anyone who has a furcoat that is basically attached to their skin is that when one takes a swim is that it can hold water that then starts to drain body heat unless the wearer's species has been adapted to an aquatic environment and is able to repel it while maintaining body heat.
Skunks however are not such a species, and regular skunks would in general not take a swim unless needing a cool down or really not being able to avoid it.
Mephitis Mephitis Sapiens such as our subject Cikyla however do swim for the sake of enjoyment, and she found out how to get rid of most of that water that is weighing her down and making her feel cold by observing other species such as felines and canines.
Those around the pool however are less impressed by Cikyla's adaptability of other species' behavior as she gives them an unwanted shower.
