Yes, I haven't posted many sketches recently. Let me make up for here with this current work in progress.
A few have asked how I've managed to merge characters and background - here is the trick. It's no secret, but the use of a simple tool that just makes all the difference.
The top version shows a sketch of Ali that I've drawn last month. When adding a dynamic point of view on a city, the angle felt off. The bottom version shows an important step, combining the sketch of Ali to the city.

Good question. I have kept a few parts, like her head and paws the same. The legs were slightly reworked, but mostly was the chest and lower abdomen. Most of the work was just shuffling the body gradually towards the left (giving the depth of field) and slanting the shoulders down at the needed angle.
