Testing thumbnails as I've not used them before, and otherwise posting up the rough of Page 1 of "Shaghal", a comic based in the Endeavor Sea, following folk from the country of Shaghal. Details on the page'll be posted with the digital inks, or possibly with the final of this page, later in the week.
Again, this is a rough, so not near as much detail as I'm pleased with. So far things are going well on that end, so far as inking it, but exam Wednesday has me a bit busy. In another note, this isn't a one-off-do-a-page-or-two-thing. This is for a grade, in an upper level Topics in Animation course at my University, based around Webcomics/Comics, so I have to do it, or I fail. No complaints!
Shaghal belongs to
VoenkomVolk.
The Endeavor Sea collaborative belongs to
SavageLycan ,
Chilovek , with portions to those involved, respectively.

My recommendation is to drop the top-center panels (cockpit interior views) about an inch each so you don't obscure the establishing shot in the first frame. It would require you shrink that awesome top-down shot of the helicopter, but it might work better to provide that locational information.
Not the first person to make this suggestion, actually. Classmate had a similar idea, but wanted me to stair-step the middle two from top left to bottom right, with the left one in its present location.
The bottom-up shot of the helicopter is what I've started inking first (bleh), though thanks to inking digital I still have the option to move it. My biggest qualm is moving that left-side one down, as it'd crash in with the text bar at the bottom left there. Other worry is loss of the landing shot's meaning, as it's arranged bottom left to top right with the biggest indicator (save shading, which comes with the inking if I black out) that its landing is the front gear coming down, leading me to bite my nails over moving the right side one.
The hope I've got is that the color will help place location. Compromise could be moving the establishing shot up and break through the 8 1/2 x 11 frame so the airfield is in the shot, essentially just extending the canvas up an inch or so and moving that top up with it... being webcomic we don't /have/ to follow the paged guidelines, though they are convenient. Come to think, I might screw around with that one when I've got the time. Tonight I must sleep, only got 2 and 1/2 hours last night. Fwee.

["Top-down"] Herp. Sorry, I recognized the bottom-up but I'm a retard.
Okay, yeah, I can see where you're going with that. I might just make another suggestion that its okay to shrink images in comics. A common mistake for beginning comic artists (myself included) is we make our panels too large, and we end up with panels crowding one another. We could probably get away with shrinking several of these panels in conjunction with the changes you've suggested and far more successfully display the page's events.
