I decided to come up with my own idea of what the interior of the Star Fox team's base ship looks like. I based my design here after doing research on interior designs of ships from Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate, and Firefly.

It's simple but utilizes most of the space and gives a good idea of what's going on. I don't think the armory should be adjacent to the brig, but with enough safety protocols, you could justify it. Honestly, Star Fox doing some bounty hunter missions wouldn't be that bad of an idea, especially when it's bounties on former Venomian officers, scientists, and war criminals.
You could probably get away with it if you had some sort of airlock like system that separates the Brig and isolates it. Meaning that if anything it can also be ejected into space. That threat alone would probably be enough.
But also you have the problem of the living areas, I, again the Brig should be completely isolated, like some kind of gap of some kind that has a bridge to extended to it. Remember in the 1st live action X-Men movie at the end where magnito was in that isolation cell without any metal? And remember how they extended a kind of bridge section to it?? Something something similar to that would probably Be effective at isolating it.
