A bit of a big jump after teasing that dark entity around the magicless girl on the previous pages no?

Well, I always intended to have the main part of story as young adults.
The events while they were young impact who they are when they are older.
There could be more things we do not know yet. But I want to push the story ahead sooner rather than later :)

I understand the bulk of the story wants to take place when they are older, but just cutting ahead a decade after showing that the broken girl with no magic is being hounded by a dark entity, which will most likely corrupt her with the promise of magical talent, happens "off screen" is not exactly the best story telling, or worse then the next chapter is nothing but flashbacks which make the 10 year jump pointless. Showing her interaction with the entity throughout those years would have been better and organically show her decent into darkness and the effects it has on her and her relations to people around her.

Well now you are speculating things that are just not even shown or known.
I appreciate the concerns, but I think it would be too early to jump to conclusions.
It is the first story/comic I have made and I hope people enjoy where it will head.

A time jump of 10 years? That is interesting. Also, I must say that Kumi changed a lot from how she looked 10 years ago; now she is not only a woman but she also looks cool, and with more spiritual friends than before. I'm already more curious to know how Satomi is after that 10-year jump; amazing page, great chapter and amazing work.

I know this is an odd question. Would a Kitsunes that live for centuries, treat a decade the same way we treat a singular year?

Well, I hope I can explain more properly, but for now we are where I would like to be to explain a bit more about the world
as well as have the characters be older and develop them further.
The characters in my story are meant to reflect human lifespans. But who knows maybe there are a few who surpass a typical human lifespan.

From what I gather from the spirit fox myths, a Kitsune gains power, new forms of magic, and an additional tail every 100 years.
Thus a clue to its age. 3 tails=300+ years old.

At 1000 years things get unclear. Because the max is 9 tailed fox.

It is your story of course. But I am reflecting upon the unseen differences of Spirit foxes. And anthro foxes.
As if Kumiho is the real Kitsune. And if it wasn't for the demon Satomi would be just an anthro.
