I got to see alot of that toy line and I was really impressed with the quaility but the shows writing was half assed at best. It seemed to commit little to transformer lore and just picked out various elements of old stuff rather then forge something new.
Transformer fans are just too grown up to do anything but a serious effort i writing.
On a minor note I just bought 9 episodes of "Dungeons and Dragons" and I did guess that Venture was done by Peter Cullen!...........and Frank Welker made little unicorn noises..
