The point of this kind of piece is not only to allow the viewers to engage the art but also it allows me a sort of creative inspiration for further art pieces and projects in the future (a sort of observation piece). OMEGA ISOLATION DISORDER (O.I.D.)
Description and Cause
O.I.D. (colloquially referred to as lenche both as the disorder and the afflicted individual) is a uncommon mental illness that is caused by abnormalities in the omega cortex of the velden brain. It is generally a product of mental trauma (most susceptible during childhood) and can vary in degree based on the intensity of the trauma and the veldens own personal resilience.
Mild forms of O.I.D. are diagnosed as 'Stable Disorder' and can go mostly unnoticed unless diagnosed by a velden specialist. This diagnosis does not come without drawbacks however as it prevents the afflicted individual from connecting and communicating with their own kind via the extrasensory transcendental way their species is able to perform. Those afflicted at this level however are still able to lead manageable if not very normal lives.
Moderate forms of O.I.D. are diagnosed as 'Moderate Disorder' and is where mental health issues become apparent. These can include some if not all the symptoms of depression, learning disabilities, isolation behaviors, and in rare cases suicidal and homicidal ideation. This diagnosis is manageable with regular therapy or anti-depressants and those afflicted have the opportunity to still lead manageable and productive lives.

Balanced with Psychotic Features
Of the most sever, balanced with psychotic tendencies is considered the most manageable with strong medication and regular therapy. Individuals suffering from this diagnosis can lead manageable lives, however can usually suffer from some, if not all, the symptoms of depression, suicidal or homicidal tendencies in extreme cases, isolation disorders, difficulty in communicating well with others, difficulty in having meaningful relationships, and learning disorders. On rare occasions visual and auditory hallucinations have been observed in some afflicted velden of this diagnosis.
Unbalanced with Psychotic Features
Velden given this diagnosis are considered to be the most likely at risk of harming themselves or others the majority of their lives. Constant monitoring or permanent hospitalization may be required in most cases for those with this diagnosis as the most dangerous behaviors are never predictable and no known long term therapy seems to help.
Velden with this diagnosis can vary in lucidity from having perfect control over their motor and basic mental functions, or they can be completely unresponsive to command and act in a feral manner majority, if not their entire life.
