Maintenance is a very important part of every Mission to keep up the high standards and ensure the proper function of a Spacecraft. Now, usually that's done by the Mechanics and even the Cleaning of a Ship is also a Chore that needs to be done every now and then.
Since those two Sergals are some hotheads that bring themselfs in the most dangerous situations all the time, they had to clean every Ship in the Hangar by themselfs; Captains Order. The last Mission nearly ended in a Catastrophe.
Shipcleaning may cool them down, before they jump head on into the next fight - where they probably will excessively show how outstanding they perform under pressure. The Captain knows this; but he can't let them do whatever they want. He needs them alive.
Right now they're working on the last Gladius. The looks they give each other says all; they didn't learn their lesson. They need that danger. Somehow they turn the worst situation into a success.
