This one i made in 6th grade. im telling you know the grammed and punctuating and all that stuff is pretty bad. but the story itself is good.
I might try to rewrite it one of these days :3

How the wolf got its howl

There was a wolf pup who lived in the Grove Forest with his father(papa wolf).
"what was that?" asked the wolfpup.
"That was the wind god, He lives in the East Grove Forest. Never go in there or talk to him." said papa wolf
then curiosity struck wolf pup
Wolf pup went into the east grove forest. Then he heard the noise again which startled him. He ran and ran till he got lost.
"oh no, what am i going to do?" Said wolf pup. "Papas going to have a cow."
"Hey young wolf pup," Said wind god "Whats wrong with you?"
"im lost and scared." Said wolf pup timidly
"If you help me i'll help you," said wind god "First answer this riddle and get it for my stew." Said wind god. "It makes a fine noise with a shake of its tail, but if you do not listen it will really hurt."
Wolf pup ran into the wood.
"papa said a snake will hurt you if you don't listen to its tail, "thought wolf pup "I got to find one"
wolf pup ran till he caught up to a rattle snake
"Rattle snake will you heplp me? I got lost here in the east grove wood and wind god said he'll help me if i get a snake for his stew." Cried wolf pup
"stupid pup, why do you ask me such a stupid question? but i'll help you." said the rattlesnake, "i'll go with you, but when he helps you, i'll scape." then, they left to meet wind god. When they got there wind god threw snake in his boiling pot.
"good job pup I'll be eating good tonight," said wind god, "ready, noise of the wind noise of the breeze let this wolf pup sound like me" said the wind god. Now howl for your papa "
Soon after wolf pup howled the rattle snake escaped
"Your gonna pay!" Yelled wind god
"No they're not!" Growled papa wolf
He pounced on wind god; then rattlesnake bid a farewell
"Are you mad papa?" asked wolf pup
"yes, for not listening. But you did open open door for are breed with comunicating, hunting and many other important things" said papa wolf
"oh!" said wolf pup, smiling at the setting sun descending over the horizon
