Yeah: poodles have the hind end of a Greyhound (including tail if it's not docked), the front ends a cross between a Labrador-retriever and a gray-hound, and the head and ears are those of a Labrador. There paws are something special; they are very over-sided, closer to a huskies, and their toes are webbed. Without the Lion cut, we Poodles look rather goofy.

It's where you leave a "mane" of hair around a dog's shoulders and chest to keep them warm in water without leaving so much hair that it's difficult for them to swim. It's the normal hair style for a poodle, and and you think of when you think of poodle.

People do; but all that stuff cut off was dirty and matted, rather useless for that. Else I would have sold it.

But yeah, I have been tempted to try to or make a doggy sweater myself; the ultimate "fur" accessory?

I would be scared that the hair would turn into some horrible monster and try to eat me, thus I would demand that the hair was cremated.

Actually, one huge chunk of it was in the shape of his body; I was tempted to glue a fake head on it and use it like a bear skin rug; but thought better of it. It did look like a messed up Horta though.

I am glad for your health (both mentally and physically) that you did not make a rug out of it. Did you try to mind meld with the hair that looked like Horta?
