Cyra had been enjoying the afternoon she had gotten off by surprise. Meandering around the square she looked over the town's quaint older architecture. She looks over the bits and ends that the vendors selling crafts that they seemed to run every couple of weekends. She was distracted by the suddenly open afternoon and had forgotten to take the balloon off her tail. Now was so distracted by the bits and bobs around her that she wasn't focused on where it was floating about.
One of the few who had been annoyed by it wasn't really one to let things go, and the puma slides and slinks closer. She watches as the snow leopard's attention darts and weaves between the various stalls, finally seeing a decent opportunity to get up close. When she did, Cyra was consumed listening to the craftsman talking about their knickknacks, and the tawny cat pulled out a claw. With one swift poke the pink orb frazzled into dozens of tiny pieces, flying every which way.
With that bang, Cyra was brought out of her tiny little world. Her tail fluffed out and she jumped out into the air. She came back down on her feet and looked about, her tail no longer tugged upwards. Spinning about she looked over at the cougar, her hand brought up to her chest and looking distressed as well. "Oh my," the panthress said through a thick accent, "that was a bit of a startle there. You jumped clear up to the second floor there didn't you?" Cyra pulled her tail up and started to undo the string as the puma continued, with what may have been a hint of insincerity, "Bless your heart..."
A nice piece done by
Foxena that started out as something rather different; but morphed while I was a little preoccupied. I was somewhat amused while she was drawing this, because she, and her streaming buddy Gen, got into a big discussion about The Slow Mo Guys when a comment was made about the balloon pop. Of course, knowing more, I had to interject and watched as folks realized I know far, far too much about how balloons pop.
