Pash… WOW. You have every reason to be proud. I had to take a good look to realise this is all manually hand-painted and even then I’m not sure. I will never get over how eerie your art of DD always manages to be even if they’re only taking up a small spot. Like earliest memories that you’ll never find out if real or imagined (the low POVs certainly add to this). Also really like the very subtle blood spots on an entire b/w piece
HNNNRGH PEPER.. THANK YOU SO MUCH <3
You are absolutely super sweet with your words ;_;
I'm really glad you like it! Also yep! It's all hand drawn lol, just a little annoyed with how much Fa blurs it. Also really glad that DD still manages to give off that feeling. I have a hard time thinking of ways to present them without getting repetitive.

I think this is my favorite piece of yours so far. I have a couple favorites, but this one tops them. I've found that I suck at explaining why I like the things I like (I end up saying the same stuff over and over without realizing it!), so I'll just stick with something simple: I really like it. =3
One comes across so much genericness (and fear of ambiguity), it's awfully nice to find stuff that has fingerprints on it like your work does. You can always feel the difference when someone clearly has something to say and is expressing something, and that's the main feeling I get from this. It helps that it also just looks neat! The CRT screen effect, the bit of blood from the hammer... Every time I look at it, it conjures up a lot of thoughts and memories. It speaks.
I love it =)

Ohgosh this was such a wholesome comment to read, thank you so much! <3
I'm very happy to know that my work here can come across in such a cathartic way to you. It really means a lot :')
I really appreciate the 'fingerprint' notion too! Growing up mostly at my grandparent's house, lots of good memories register when seeing specific furniture; like old tvs, wooden grain walls and stuff like doilies on the table. So the nostalgia vibe is my inspiration primarily in these interiors. A little mix of both comfort along with loneliness I suppose could be a relatable feeling!

I'm grateful for the title here giving me more insight into the emotions behind the piece--all it needed was that; the rest really speaks for itself. I wonder how much hidden symbolism can be found in the details. The whole concept and execution of this piece is excellent. Depth and texture can be important in a (mostly) black-and-white piece such as this, and you nailed it.
Like Moth said, every reason to be proud.

Awee thank you very much Morb, that means a lot :')
I'm really estatatic when you folks get interested in my world building, even within the small snapshots like these. Would love to do something like this everytime, but oof just takes a lot of energy and inspiration that doesn't come as often. Really happy you enjoy the concept of the perspective too! Adore older box tv models and the culture of decor around them.. Imo, they're a special gimmick item that provokes both a sense of gentleness & eeriness in scenes. Something I try to present my own characters as to a degree~
