That does bring an odd question.... how many members of his tower of beefcakes would be able to help? If Brutus could... Wondering if he has a couple guys he knows or a small army. He's the only one people know about. He was left alone specifically because he wasn't much of a threat AND he was smart enough to avoid direct combat.

Being smart enough to use his mind to make himself a reputation to make people leave him alone, while taking care of his servants. He wants to be on control of things, and he made assumptions on the curse, that now are being rightly challenged into something worse than he thought. Also, his contingency, Brutus, is gone. Lesser didn't control him, Brutus followed him on his own volition and made something similar to a partnership, making it so that Brutus is maybe, more combat oriented than Lesser.

Lesser can make use of flashy things, but... He never did attack anyone outright. His spells always worked more on subtlety. I think that without Brutus, a direct confrontation would be something the Conjurer would be hard pressed to deal with, hence the panic attack. He knows that he is entering in someone else plans, without he controlling the moves.

I kinda want to see how they will deal with this situation.

That's pretty much what's happening. Lesser is not a "battle mage", direct combat is not his thing.
