The skiltaire have a universal cosmology based on the concepts of the 4 aspects: Bright, Dark, Warm and Soft. The tribes on the various planets they inhabit all have a similar story about how representatives of the aspects discovered each other and came together to form The First Tribe. This is a short version of the tale, skiltare folklore that explains the 4 aspects. There is no mention of the type (aquatic or arboreal) or the gender of the individuals in the story.

You're welcome! I really don't know why I didn't post it sooner. I was contacted recently by someone who was interested in Bill Grobe's involvement with Scooby Doo and it reminded me that the few stories about skiltaire that were on-line were ones that he wrote. I was not happy with the way he handled skiltaire. More recently Sky Rigden was writing a skiltaire story, but I don't know if it was ever posted anywhere.
