I LOVE DOODLEPAGES! Turtlepaws always delivers the finest art for me and this is no exception!
I came to her with some rough themes in mind - soft, goth, elegant with long gloves, cozy, babie. There wasn't much direction outside of that but sometimes she likes being given creative freedom. I'd say she nailed all those points :D
FIRSTLY! My two favorites on this page are the two rightmost ones. The black and yellow outfits. The yellow one is just such a candid shot, she looks so comfy, and I really like the way the outfit looks on her! I adore that it's like a photo of her on break at a shoot or something, and she notices someone is pointing a camera at her and just puts on a cute little pose.
The black one is just so fun! I love her hairstyle and ears, the less than happy look, and the dark and light contrast! Also one of the rare times that I'm excited to see someone give her dark eyelashes...which was a common problem I let go unchecked in a lot of my early commissions :x
The two middle ones and the bottom left all really capture the "soft, babie" themes so well. The use of plushies, PJ's, and padding is always a surefire way to deliver something I'll enjoy ^.^ I really love the use of light blue on the bottom left, it's a color that I think she looks especially good in. The way her hair is styled with a mess of ribbons is SO CUTE! The middle one, I like that it's a multicolor outfit and is positioned at the center of a bunch of monochromatic outfits, like it's the combination of all of these and the result is cozy naptime :3 The green one is especially fun, I LOVE big shirts as PJ's, and the dino leggings and MONSTER SOCKS is such an adorable touch! I actually never had a big soft pillow plushy of my own like the penguin she has there, but they are wonderful things ♥
LASTLY I love elegant clothing, this one was inspired from me mentioning long gloves. It's funny that I consider that to be one of my favorite styles, but can only count on one hand the amount of images that really touch on it >.>; Maybe the future will balance this out, maybe I'll just continue getting colorful kiddy stuff...who knows :D
