Somewhere in the depths of KDARC, there remains the DARC headquarters underground parking garage; a place where most fear to tread. While most of the garage is empty, there are scattered cars still parked and left waiting, many in styles reminiscent of the 1960's and 1970's. They are to the last one, never-made models by never-was manufacturers, and those who've braved the oppressing dark recount seeing their personal effects locked inside, sitting on the front seat. In one otherwise empty stretch sits a modest aluminum camper, hearkening to the likes of Airstream and that quintessential postwar boom and wanderlust. Rust-red sand with no obvious source looks to be blown and gathered around its wheels and the surrounding area in miniature dunes, along with a terra cotta planter with a petite cactus growing in its packed soil. Rudie's imposing figure emerges from the darkness blanketing the scene and opens the trailer's door, retrieving a six-pack from the icebox just inside, along with a folding chair. Popping the chair open, the bobcat settles in for some well-deserved rest and relaxation in her own slice of somewhere.
