I painted a portrait of one of my first pets after she recently passed away this year. She was a very good girl, but suffered from lymphoma. And while I do miss her, I'm glad she no longer has to feel ill.
This is my first attempt ever at painting something without any linework, just layering colors and smudging things around until it looked about right.

She had a perfect little orange triangle of fur right there on her mouth. When we first got her we always thought she had food stuck on her face. It took a long time to get used to it and not think we needed to get her a napkin. ^_^
