You see it all the time on furry websites, chat clients and Second Life. Perfectly sculpted bodies, thin-but-muscular or slim-yet-curvy builds, impossible body types. That NONE of us have in real life. If we do, we're in the minority.

So I challenge you, FA. Take a photo of yourself, fully clothed or in your skivvies. Trace your body type and marks exactly, blemishes, scars and all. Then apply your character to the form. Let's see what the REAL face of FA is.

Here it is, under the fur. I exist... this is kinda odd, but I like this idea for multiple reasone
One, first and formost, I have always been fairly comfortable with my body, and so I try to draw my fursona as close to my real bodytype as possible. The Tracing was actually a good exercise in my own anatomy.
Second... the internet is a place to put up a mask, make a character and hide behind it. It's nice to show the truth behind the internet form sometimes, to make your persona look... well, real.

buuuut... yeah... this was a good practice on drawing myself more realisticly. I I actually really like how this came out. I like my body, flaws, oddities, and all. Minor scars, my little extra pudge, my weirdly thin ankles and wrists. I'm gonna try to hit closer to my real form when I draw myself... I'm happy with this.
