If you've been following me for a while, you may remember this little horsefucker fennec. Guess who gained an extra dimension!
I've been feeling a tad under the weather lately- nothing serious, certainly not bedridden, but enough that I didn't want to take on any highly stressful work. But I also didn't want to sit around doing nothing either... fiddling around in blender seems to be my happy place these days so I kinda wanted to just keep doing that, and while thinking of exactly what to do I remembered that
Brooklyn gave me a very interesting offer in my last model commission opening, which you've probably guessed by now; they wanted to commission me at full normal commission price to make one of my own characters. How could anyone ever say no to that? I will take that offer pretty much every time I think. xD Seemed like a great way to keep myself busy without adding a ton of stress into my life since, y'know, it's my own character. No huge risk of doing a bad job and disappointing someone or anything!
So, I took 'em up on it, and a little while later here we are. Fennec in 3D. Expect to see some animations with the lil' guy at some point in the future!
Also, this is the first model I've made from the ground up using my new improved fur nodes setup; looks pretty solid IMO, excited about that!

Seriously, he's looking good. The tie looks a bit off to me, like it's too flat/body conforming, but that might be because his shirt is also unusually conforming for what looks like a dress button-down (which I like the look of).

Oh wow this model is so beautiful, you really did such an amazing job on modeling Kyle!! I personally think this and your ferret Serena are a really close tie for my favorites! I really can't wait to see what you end up doing with him over time and keep up the really amazing work!! <3
