I half jokingly compare the Harkness Test to religious law since it uses yes/no conditions to decide if something is sinful or not.

You are aware that the Harkness test sets a set of easily verifiable, easily proven criteria for whether some sex act is ethical or not regardless of what it intuitively feels like, right?

As such, Harkness Testing is pretty much a Materialist concept since Materialists' schtick is a love for hard, verifiable test data over intuitive while Spiritualism ios the opposite.

my interpretation is that the protogen (materialist civ) is not making the argument that the harkness test is zoo coded, but is taking a different, opposed approach to making the same argument (that whatever the heck this meme is specifically about if it's specifically about anything isn't zoo coded [or at least that it can't be meaningfully proven to be]), I don't know if this is the intended meaning however. it helps that I play stellaris, probably
