Living in a fantasy world means liberties can certainly be made. Amalric is a new character I designed in a new / side setting, the idea being its a world between worlds and a cross between reality and fantasy, formed from the 'shadows' of Zealandia and Greater Adria before they ceased to be. Like Gensokyo of the Touhou series its a sealed world but one that has ties both to Earth and to Ardoria - at certain points the barriers are thinner, and sometimes things cross over. Those sightings of 'Nessie' may not have been so preposterous after all !


Rambling aside, here's a handsome new pterosaur. The necklace he wears is made of raptor talons, and was crafted by his Dilophosaurus friend Inyx. While intelligent, Amalric has no interest in the magic arts or other scholarly pursuits.
