Lemme copypaste it :D
She used to live alone in her inherited family home, but lost it many years ago as it wasn't exactly legally built (unbeknownst to her), and the city tore it down. Her current "home" consists mostly of cardboard and is located outdoors behind an electrical substation; you have to climb through bushes and a hole in a wire fence to reach the spot, which explains the leaves and the occasional bandage on her.

This series of pictures raises some very complex emotions. As someone who feels a great deal of compassion and empathy for those dealing with hardship I can't help wishing so much I could enter that scene to help her, not only to buy that dress but to help out with all of her other needs for food, a home, etc. Despite her being a fictional character I feel so sad that she can only dream of having nice things, even as simple as a dress she likes, and feel even more sad that there's nothing I can do to help her considering she is fictional. Like I said, it's a lot of complex emotions, and there's more but I won't get into it. It just makes a person really think.
Ooooh my...
You threw a cute and semi-wicked curve ball.
As much as that dress radiates with adorable charm, its hard to keep your eyes from trailing down to that little corner, reality check. Beyond the cardboard 'HOME <3' , her bed of papers and the one lone Sunflower give a little 'pinch'.
Life's not easy, nor is it likely to get any easier. It even has no qualms about offering a kick when you are down. Take the positives where you can find them. Holly's a Champ for enduring such, and may we get to see her savoring more good smiles (and that DRESS) as your gallery continues onward.
