I didn't think it was possible for Virmir to be a super wrestler but words can't describe how much I love Sumo Wrestler Virmir and I hope we see more of Sumo Virmir in the future. Virmir looks super silly, cute, and strong as a Sumo Wrestler!!!

Eh, sumo wrestlers gotta have quite a bit of muscle to do what they do. The fat primarily serves to lower their center of mass and reduce the opponent's leverage, which in turn means a sumo wrestler also needs more muscle to be able to get their opponent off-balance to either push them out of the ring or send them to the floor of the dohyo. So, really, a relatively balanced mix is most desirable.
Thing is, because of the intense training involved resulting in high levels of adiponectin, a sumo wrestler's fat is all subcutanious, meaning it forms soft, low-density layers under the skin and above the muscles, rather than hard, dense pockets of visceral fat within the core of the body. So they'll still have a soft, plump physique even though they're also capable of incredible feats of strength and surprising agility for their size and weight, and would actually potentially be bigger than someone of a similar weight who doesn't undergo that training.
