Scooby fans are aware that everyone in the gang except Fred has been a werewolf at one point in time or another (Shaggy twice). I thought I'd compile images of them as well as a list of when.
lonewarrior drew up the gang as their werewolf counterparts here.
First (upper left as you face the screen): “Moonlight Madness” January 10, 1981: https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/M.....nlight_Madness
In this episode Shaggy becomes a werewolf thanks to an amulet from his ancestor.
Second (upper right as you face the screen): “Canine to Five” October 17, 1981: a still shot from https://youtu.be/2ylUykYERcA?t=120
It's very hard to find "Scrappy Doo Werewolf" by googling. In any case, Werner Wolf has an experimental device somehow connected to the stone age that ends up somehow turning him into a werewolf. This also ends up working on Scrappy who ends up saving the day.
Next: “Where’s the Werewolf” December 11, 1982: https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/W.....s_the_Werewolf
Not to be outdone by his nephew and best friend becoming werewolves, Scooby ends up drinking a potion that turns him into one. Apparently Scoob has some unresolved anger issues with both of them, since he's about to flatten them with a chimney.
After that: “To All the Ghouls I've Loved Before” Sep 7, 1985: https://legacy.shadowlordinc.com/me.....o_Werewolf.htm
We are now into the "Shaggy's Red Shirt" period and "The Thirteen Ghosts of Scooby Doo". Here we see it's Daphne in her April O'Neil purple jumper about to have a friendly discussion with Shaggy and Scooby.
Next: “Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf” November 13, 1988: https://johnnyalucard.com/2020/11/1.....nt-werewolf-8/
Arguably the most famous incident (given it's a whole movie). Unlike in all previous ones, Shaggy retains his human mind and is able to continue his race-car driving. Sadly, like in the others, no tail on former humans.
Finally: “Scooby Doo and the Goblin King” September 23, 2008: https://m.imdb.com/title/tt1295021/...../rm3227349248/
I hope that link actually works. Anyway, the last (to date) of werewolf transformations (or ones I know of). Here we can see it's Velma becoming the werewolf. An improvement in art, this is the first time a former human gets a tail as a werewolf. This is also the only werewolf transformation where Scrappy's not around. Strange, that.
Will Freddy ever get his own werewolf transformation? I hope so, but it may be a while. His voice actor (Frank Welker) did play the werewolf Fangface, if that counts.
