This is a combination and improvement of "all" (except the ones that are less-wise to put into a bio) surviving (some are completely gone, like the code for Lion King fans) Geek Code variants (including ones that made it onto the Wayback Machine). It combines the Geek Code, the variants of the Dragon Code, the Bear Code (made by gay men), the Furry Code, the archived FurAffinity version of the Geek Code (known as the Affinity Code), and the Plush Code (related to the Plushie fandom). I DID take measures to keep this diplomatic where it mattered most, and I also did a LOT of things to make it inclusive. The vast majority of booleans in the original codes were converted to 32-bit floats. I also used the quantitative approach for the size-related units (which have 3 dimensions, so you're creating a bounding box), as well as making colors and such be 32-bit RGBA values. Because the Furry Code (among others) features stuff like "I *want* this to be the case", I had to include "Desired *such and such*" sections. The advantage to using floats instead of booleans is that you can, in addition to partial values, do large values beyond just 0 or one, AND you can do negative numbers for when you resoundingly do not answer in the affirmative.
Yes, this PDF is 60 pages, and yes, this list features stuff like "float32s each for...", so the actual blob you create will be big. To simplify encoding and allow amending of the format, putting something like an ASCII comma between each value would be a good idea. Oh and it's worth mentioning to *actually* use this like the original Geek Code in a bio, you're going to need to put it into BWTC32Key. Keep in mind that many users won't need to fill out quite a few values that are present for inclusiveness reasons. Inclusiveness is why I turned most booleans into Float32s. I also added some "info in bio" booleans, and I changed certain terms from the original codes to better ones. I also chose not to integrate the Geek Code variants that are geared precisely towards the after-dark parts of the fandom, especially considering that those aged the worst. I also added fields for stuff like non-binary genders, as well as Salmacian/Aphrodisian, and I also included stuff like "Desired Gender". The Dragon Code generator had a section related to chromosomes of all things. I ended up doing a lot of research about conditions that affect chromosome count to find out what has so far been discovered in medical literature. Because of mosaicism (having multiple sets of genetic instructions), I elected to make all of these values Float32s so percentages could be represented. I ALSO amended and updated the Geek Code sections (some of which are in some of the other variants) to include stuff relevant to modern times without destroying the retro stuff. So, yes, the OS/2 section remains, but under the Unix-related section, I added airyxOS (a clone of macOS that is based on FreeBSD but has a LOT of stuff done to it to make macOS and Linux apps work [and by extension Wine, so Windows]), and I also threw in Hurd of all things (Hurd is GNU's own kernel, and you can find Debian versions of Hurd, AND you can run Wine on it.) Yes, I AM a big nerd. This project took a LONG time. I started it around late 2022, and only finished it in Summer 2023, but never got around to posting it visibly because of other projects, and then computer issues (which were thankfully not unfixable.) I spent a LONG time doing research for this, including scouting out ancient websites, going through scientific literature, and finding the remnants of old codes. I haven't actually made a code for myself yet, but I'm going to. You could use this code for your characters in your stories if you wish.
