I finally (got help) slapping Wordpress into shape and Runaway to the Stars is now releasing as a public webcomic! Show your friends! Show your dad! Hold your dog up next to the computer screen so it can get a look too! Thank you so much for your support over the years, and sticking with me while I'm slowly chewing my way through this book. I'm very excited to share this story!
It'll be updating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday thanks to the massive Patreon backlog. Patreon will continue to update as I finish pages, which happens on a sporadic non-schedule. Also, the book is still contracted to be printed by Iron Circus Comics when complete, I just got permission to share the full text online.
If you experience bugs with the site report them to me. Some things may occasionally break, as coding problems tend to be a very "whack-a-mole" affair; and I'm still getting used to the interface.

IMO, too late to worry about that. I have no reason to believe every major social media site hasn't already been fed into the machine, as well as a lot of stuff just accessible via web search, because generators need billions of images to work and they have no reason right now to not lie about where they got all those images. I'm more concerned about regulation and ensuring generators who draw from the commons aren't selling the result. I expect the hype bubble to pop sooner rather than later, though, honestly, because generative A.I. is terrible for most of the use cases they're trying to sell it for... besides using it as an excuse to underpay workers by passing useless generated slop off to human workers to "fix" it.
Congratulations! Grandiose worldbuilding, character psychology,
creature design, futuristic architecture, sign language,
heartening atmosphere, effervescent humor –
the world needs more creators like you
at the forefront, being seen by
the old and new generations.
This is a good thing.
Thank you for
coming
