The backbone of the Inari Empires fleet, the Kodachi class destroyer is indispensible as escorts and often sent out in small to medium sized wolfpacks. While their armor is nothing to write home about, their oversized engines makes them an excellent choice as fast response vessels or in task forces, while their heavy torpedo armament allows them to be dangerous to even larger vessels if left alone. Comparably cheap, these vessels are fielded in large numbers across all branches and even leased out to larger non-governmental organisations.
