ARTFIGHT PROFILE FOR 2024 RAHHHH (bonus lore)
YAYYYY ARTFIGHT IS ALMOST UPON US
Sadly this year I might not be as active as last one because I'm finishing my uni and I'm working on my graduation project which I'm deathly afraid I won't finish before October (I mean even if I don't finish it by then, the consequences won't be that terrifying, I'd just have to pay 200 euros to prolong the time I have left to finish it, and I do NOT wanna give any more money to my university which I genuinely started to hate)

A little storytime/rant about choosing this year's artfight theme (that absolutely nobody asked for):
As a trans man, when I was younger I loooooved water, I loved bath time, I loved the pools and I loved the sea, but as I started growing up and I started associating going to the beach and summertime in general with having to wear more revealing clothes and, god forbid, bikinis, I started hating summer and the beach altogether. However that was before my transition. As someone who's been on hormones for almost 3 years now (I think, I lost count), and who has had top surgery which genuinely changed my life for the better, I have finally started coming around and rethinking my hatred for summer. I'm unbelievably excited for this summer in particular, even though I'll mostly spend all of my time indoors and working, it will be my first time going to the beach and being able to take my shirt off and not feel weird or dysphoric. I want to get my love for the sea back and hopefully with time I will appreciate summer more and more each year.
So when artfight announced this year's themes, at first I had to really think about which team I want to be in.
Usually I'd know immediately which team sticks out and fits me the most, but this year was kinda tough. Last year was a no-brainer for example, I loooove vampires, the movies, the themes and stories about them, the innate queer aspect of them, I literally have a gay vampires tattoo, a vampire trans flag with fangs and bats, and my fursona is a cat-bat hybrid, it truly wasn't even a question for me which team I'd pick. But this time I really had to take some time and wreck my noggin about the themes.
So, remembering about my relationship with summer and sea and how I wish I'd enjoy it more, team sea-foam eventually called out to me more and I gravitated more towards it.
