I just like how Elon Musk used to be worshipped by the average Liberal on social media, often people preached him to be like some kind of Godly Tech Omnissiah that would save the world with his electric cars, wall chargers, solar panels and bring a new era of tech with the hyperloop project and space exploration with his company SpaceX... Now that he switched parties... people somehow started to point out how he used to be a apartheid supporter, how his family was rich and enslaved black people...or how kids are literally working on their lithium mines for the teslas, people start pointing out the flaws of Tesla more and no longer get called "Big Oil shill"... If you pointed out any of either things before his switch you would get thrown some negative labels for going against the Omnissiah's teachings and creations.
With my little ramble finished... Fuck Elon Musk, he really has nothing special.

It really was interesting watching that in action. Reddit in particular used to idolize like a god ironically, and any criticism no matter how well constructed resulted in bans and the usual shadowboxing as the mask he put up convinced them he was this grandiose genius humanitarian with rough edges and a rougher history who wanted to make the world a better place.
Then the mask came off and Reddit slowly but surely began to realize he never cared about anything other then the chase of the almighty dollar.

Reddit is the type of lad that after a severe shock will run towards the bathroom and take a look in the mirror, you know what happens next? They dont see themselves but 4chan in a hugo boss jacket, Reddit asks "Who are you?!" And 4chan simply replies "I am you, but more honest"
Reddit on denial at his own reflection will grab the nearest soap bottle and chug it as 4chan gently airs the cup of wine they are holding in their hand. Reddit prefers death rather than admit being wrong or mistaken.
I admit, theres no website in the world wide web I dont despise... but I would lie if I said I lightly dislike the chans, they got some standards that reddit doesnt have.

The funniest thing about the Cybertruck to me is that Elon promised that making it out of stainless steel with sharp angles would make the truck easier to manufacture (and therefor cheaper) and also easier to maintain.
And so far it's failed MISERABLY on both fronts. Not only is it stupid expensive for what it does, but the stainless steel that was supposed to be "easier to maintain" MUST be washed as soon as possible if so much as a fly shits on it, or else it'll discolor. Also, you can't wash it outside during the daytime. Which suggests one probably shouldn't feed it after midnight, either.
On top of that, the thing has small pockets in the chassis/under-carriage that actually HOLD WATER, meaning the steel will RUST in those areas.
Not to mention how ridiculous it looks. Damned thing looks like a giant cheese grater, complete with gaps in the body panels for the freshly-shredded cheese to fall through.
Oh yeah, and stainless steel is also a bit of a bastard to paint. It CAN be done, but it's a process. You either need to sand the absolute crap out of it, or acid-dip the body panels in order to get paint to stick to it at all. And acid-dipping is CRAZY expensive. Your only other option is basically to vinyl wrap it, and vinyl, being plastic, will eventually break down through sun exposure and start to fade a fair bit before a proper paint-job would.
Not to mention the update they had to provide to keep the "frunk" from SMASHING PEOPLE'S FINGERS, which it turns out it will STILL try to, because the update considers a small amount of resistance to be little more than a slightly over-stuffed frunk, and so will try to close EVEN HARDER to sort of "cram" everything in there.
Between the Cybertruck's massive failure, the failure of Solar Shingles, the massive drop in build-quality across the Tesla line, the tremendous enshittification of Twitter, and the absolutely foolish ambitions of the Hyper-Loop, it boggles my mind that anybody looks to Elon like he's the next Howard Hughes.

One customer said that when they were driving it, everything “ cheap”, the interior, the design, the materials, everything “felt cheap”. Ironically it kinda fits the design philosophy of many products in today’s world. Pay less, sell more. Otherwise how do you explain the $120k price tag for a literal piece of junk? It’s a parody made into reality. Also while no one really calls him Howard Hughes (they call him Tony Stark), it feels strangely appropriate lol
Stuff like that is why I laughed my ass off when it was suggested that Tesla's Optimus would be made for around $10K once it reaches the mass-production stage. It'll probably cost consumers more like $50-75K, if not much, much more. It's also so far embarrassingly behind a lot of other humanoid robot offerings, such as the G1 from Unitree or Boston Dynamics' new Atlas, a humanoid that is actually capable of walking without looking like it just shit itself.
"It'll be doing work in our factories" Bruh, if I worked even 5 times as fast as Optimus currently does, I'd be fired for under-performance.
