So, a fluffy astral fox dragon? Interesting creature mash-up. At first I wondered if it was some kind of manticore, the body and head structure kinda resembles the look of some images I've seen before but had long since forgotten about. lol
But onto the review! This piece, is really WOW. It's hard to know where to start! Like a smorgasbord for the eyes! You simply want to dive in!
Well, let's start with the background then. The starry stellar field is fun and a little on the cartoony side. By which I mean many of the stars look more like sparkles than stars in the distance, it adds some fun and charm to the background.
Love the crescent moon and how BRIGHT it looks! The softened edge gives it a great sense of reflected light and a pleasantly ethereal feel! Especially with that, stellar dust creating an aura around it? Or is that vapor from the cloud that the character is lounging on? It's a nice extended effect, whatever it is.
The cloud's colors fit the theme, background and character's colors and tie them together nicely, a meeting of both color schemes while keeping it's own identity. The Pink stars and lines add an interesting contrast. Honestly, I wasn't sure about them at first, but the most I look, the more I like 'em in there. Like the "Sparkles"-stars in the BG, they also add a bit of warmth and fun to the piece.
Finally, the character. A very interesting design indeed. I can see elements of Fox and Dragon in there. The colors and the fur patterns are soft and fluffy looking. Love the stars added throughout her design! LOL Crescent moon fur pattern on her upper-thigh/butt-cheek spotted! Cute detail. The hands and feet a nicely done, the pads for her feet especially detailed. Judging from her face, it looks like she may just be waking up, would I be right? Seems like there's a white, possibly a star-shaped patch on her left shoulder, but it's largely covered by her hair, so I'm not sure what that is for sure, but it's a little detail, for sure, so I'm noting it. I also like how her fur pattern, especially going down her upper legs mainly, looks like a stellar camo-pattern. lol
LOL Like I said, it's a smorgasbord for the eyes. Definitely a LOT to take in and savor.
Hope you like my review. This feels like it got a bit longer than intended because it's 3am and I'm very tired. I get long-at-the-keyboard when I'm tired. lol Then again, after re-reading it, Maybe not.. It covers all the details I can see, so hopefully I'm not missing any!
