This is the guy who Spearminta ends up married to, later on. He's a former member of a jazz rock band (he was the drummer) who's band members and manager both died in a terrible incident, where they were murdered. His name's "Salso".
With Salso having trained to become tougher at both the gym AND martial arts training, (complete with a healty, balanced diet) Salso had a promise to keep; to make sure the criminals responsible were brought to justice. (He worked as a freelance detective for a while, and wasn't a murderer.)
Eventually, he did end up finding out where the criminals were, gathered proper incriminating evidence, and brought them to the police, so they can end up in prison. (The said criminals involved, being the owners of a criminal American pharmaceutical company, were found guilty of all charges and got the death sentence without parole, after they were found out to be...PURE EVIL!)
WIth Salso now at peace that the murderers will do not more harm to innocents after hearing of their deaths, he soon meets up with some friends of his at the beach for a friendly game of volleyball.
And after running into a certain rabbit gal around his age, that is how he met the woman who would later on become his wife; Spearminta. (They dated for 6 years, and ended up hapilly married as soon as they found out they were a proper match...and were ready then. They had 4 quadriplets of kids, being 2 sons and 2 daughters, a year after their honeymoon. With Salso & Spearminta not only running a music & record store, but also providing music instrument lessons, for their day job.)
ANOTHER FACT: Salso is not Mexican, but Spanish. (Spearminta, the woman who became his wife, IS partially Mexican, in heritage, however.)
Salso, while aggressive at times, keeps his aggression within reason, and uses violence only on those who are ACTUALLY a threat..but regardless, he has a heart filled with compassion, despite being prone to anger at times.
Salso is also a bit shorter than Spearminta, but is still a strong man.
