birthday, a silly little anecdote for our creative collaboration :P She's like my muse, if I am feeling like a meaningless husk of empty inspirations, we chat and all of a sudden I got about a billion ideas. So this is... sorta... trying to illustrate that... but turned more goofy than anything haha. If you've ever read His Dark Materials, Klak (the crow with ear tufties) is sorta like Ski's daemon. I'm always redrawing/designing bird/wolf hybrids for myself, cuz I like them both lots and if I don't have to decide on just one I WON'T :P But I do frequently draw/birdwatch bluejays and such, and they're one of the few birds around here who aren't sexually dimorphic (as in the female is the same colour as the male). And I like blue >_>
Klak is being very helpful.

Rambled at you about this in email a bit already, but had to reiterate: THANK YOU!!! Love it to death, g'awwww. Friends 4 eva and all that rot. Remember you're my muse every bit as much, I don't think I'd write at all anymore if it wasn't for you. In which case by now I would have gone insane, stuffed my pockets with rats, and be camped out with a chemistry kit under the Charles Bridge trying to perfect formaldehyde-fueled rat jetpacks. Um...which is my long-winded way of saying I would have snapped by now.
Thank you for an extra happy birthday, woofie. The beautiful weather today seems to be celebrating too, hope it's as nice in Canada!
