Portrait drawing for
Rhaeloth
I didn't draw anything with colored pencils for a while, but after I found my cool pencils kit that was taken away by my kids, but they didn't use it for a long while, so I think like they belong to me again. This drawing took me one hour to draw.

Splendidly done, my friend! You most certainly put your newfound pencils to good use. As always, the details on the scales are incredible, especially considering that it took you only a single hours to not only draw but also fully colour this art. That's most impressive, even mind-blowing! Also, you must be using some very fine, high-quality pencils to achieve such lovely colours. The blue of the eye and the dark red part on the lower neck are so beautiful that I can hardly believe such can be achieved by mere pencils. As always, keep up the amazing work! ^v^
Thank you, dear friend! Portraits are always easy for me, since they don't need a composition and complex anatomy. I love to see other characters through the prism of my art.
The pencils are special, since they're thicker than usual ones and require a wider sharpener, but they don't break often like the usual colored pencils and the colors are great and vibrant, just like I love. At first I add colors slightly to understand the deepness of the color I need to reach. For example, to color the eye I used the same pencil, so the darker shade of it is the actual color of the pencil! To make such warm red color of the body I used orange color to fill the white gaps and turn 'bloody" red to the 'warm" red the actual dragon has. Darker red is made with a slight usage of the black pencil. That was a challenge to not mess up with the things, hehe!
Thank you for your warm comlpliments, Raiberd! The colors you use for words and sentences aren't visible, but I feel them while reading your texts ;)
