Eilonwy and Vess got to have a sparring match, reluctant though Vess was at first, because Eilonwy's never been one to pass up a challenge and Vess uses it to teach people what vampire(-adjacent) people can do. For better or for worse.

Technically Eilonwy won, but opted to call it a draw because she thought Vess would shrug off a particular spell. Buuut she didn't. Without that calling the match short, the aasimar was sure Vess would absolutely kick her arse.

And of course that means a new friend is made! Like it or not, Vess. xD
