It's not fair

I am praying this doesn't end badly.

"Badly" is up for interpretation. Do you mean you would rather them stay together and be miserable or break up and begin to heal? I think it would be better if they ended the relationship and worked on themselves more.

I want to see them stay together. I'm hoping things can still be worked out.

Not gona lie, it would be EXTREMELY (and I admit unwittingly on Christopher's part) cruel of the bun to break up with Conner when they're at such an all time low after that Jackle did his best to give the bun a good day. If Campy is fixing to break up, he seriously needs to give it about a week, otherwise this poor boy is gona have such a mental breakdown.

Ikr? They're meant to be together! Despite what they've gone through, they better not end with a breakup.

Well, it's entirely possible they might not be compatible in the long run. Unfortunately, Conner has grown very attached/smitten with Campy. On top of that, Campy seems to be going through some complicated internal feelings at the moment that he's probably not 100% sure how to process at the moment. I think they're both in a state where they could make rash choices that might hurt one another. This could potentially go any direction right now. But I think it's a guarantee that someone is gona get (at least emotionally) hurt to some degree.

Yeah, they're teenagers after all and even real life situations there's bound to have some drama going on. Just a simple "I love you" could help. Hoping Conner (the jackal) doesn't have any resentment on Kale for being a "boyfriend stealer" or well, anything for that matter. Looking forward to seeing this chapter having a somewhat ok ending for these two as I'm a little eager on what Bruce and Kale are up to back at his rich tower place.

Any theorise how Conner and Campy are gonna settle their differences?

Consider, the stress Campy is going through is implied to be caused by Max and co using him for something. Related to Ens the Sparrow and his dreams. Is it possible they WANT to put strain on them for the knock on effect it might have on Kale?

Possibly butnindont see Max and Hugo going that far deep. Likely a separate issue and how Kale and companions did invade Campy's mind at one point. Hopefully didn't imprint that much

Took some time before our hearts ached, hopefully then next could wrap up this chapter and resume back to Kale and Bruce. Christopher is healing and better says "I always love you" or else poor Conner is gonna be mad at Kale for some time.
