I swear someday I'll get back to my other universes and projects, but the cyberpunk universe hyper fixation continues! This time our runner is looking ready to get into some trouble.

The runner merc Cookie spent days waiting for Fiona to reach out for a new gig. Days with absolutely no aim or goal, just relax. So she did what would normally would, sit on the couch with some comfort food watching TV and browsing the net. It was fine the first day, caught up on her trashy reality shows and ate a whole tub of ice cream by herself. She didn't even leave her shipping container apartment! The second and third days though, when all her shows were caught up and she got tired of eating junk, she endlessly browsed for something to keep her mind occupied for even a moment. It was becoming stressful to even find a way to relax! The rabbit had enough, her eyes glow as her neural interface appeared in front of her, and she began making calls.

One of the fixers that she called was an old "friend" that her and Trevor used to run into in their old days. A doe by the name of Wilda, a corp exec that was a constant thorn in their side while trying to do jobs centered around Aegis shipments of weapons and militia tech. Some years later not long after Trevor passed, in a strange stroke of fate, Cookie finds the doe at an inch of her life in an alley, left for dead by Aegis after what she called a "takeover." Cookie wasn't too happy about it, but she helped Wilda to the hospital and eventually they were able to repair their strange relationship.

Wilda answers the runner's call.
"Hey Wilda.. Hope that you're doing good. So. I'm thinking of getting back in the runner game. I've got a buddy that's gonna be tagging along, she's fresh but she's got spunk. You got anything for us?"

"For a troublemaker like you? I think I can find figure something out.. Come by my office, and bring your new friend. Plan to stay a bit, I have wine."

Wilda had a nice and nostalgic job for her old foe and this new friend. Intercepting an Aegis truck on route to deliver cybernetics and guns to a local gang, destroy it and all the contents inside. The skunk friend Fiona looked weary at going from a simple bag run to blowing up a corp vehicle.

"Trust me," Wilda says to the skunk. "If there is one thing that your friend is good at, it's this.."

Cookie rose from her chair, with her sheathed sword in hand, and she smiled. She was feeling amped up the whole way to the intercept point. Finally, time to get back in the game for real. It's time to get some work done, time for some action, time to live again, to be free again.
