My first FA submission, and more importantly, my first furry story. Short and no yiff for now, but future chapters will contain yiff. Feedback is appreciated, as well as recommendation to friends. Other than that, just enjoy and stay tuned for more.

First furry story, sure, but you must have untold numbers of stories under your belt to produce something like this. My God...this is so beautifully written. I'm not a big fan of supernatural occurrences within literature, but I can easily set that aside when I read the beautiful, fluid metaphors you use to describe raw emotion. It is completely effortless for me to envision EVERYTHING...you have an incredible amount of talent!
You say that future chapters will contain yiff...that's fine, I just really hope it doesn't detract from the absolutely amazing thing you have going on here. I am duly impressed, sir.

*blushes deeply*
I actually haven't gotten the chance to write much, and certainly not something that's been "completed" to this extent. I really thank you for your praise, though. I think a big thing for me is that I am very much an avid reader, and, whether consciously or not, tend to incorporate those things I enjoy stylistically into what I write personally.
I know you mention fantasy isn't generally your cup of tea, but my biggest influence is a fantasy author (and filk lyricist) by the name of Mercedes Lackey. I highly encourage you to give some of her work a try (she's quite prolific, so finding something shouldn't be a problem).

Generally, I'm not too keen on cursing, either, but in that particular case, it just felt like what the character would say in his frustration.
As far as grammar and punctuation goes, if there's anything specific you'd like to discuss, I'd be happy to either correct them if they were honest mistakes, or explain my reasoning if they were stylistic decisions.
