In a world where ancient ruins sing in the wind and forests hide forgotten titans in their shadows, Linnela was born — a Tinkaton with the heart of a storm.
From infancy, her boundless energy stirred the entire clan: while other apprentices practiced the graceful art of serving tea, Linnela somehow managed to topple tables, start tray races, or accidentally knock out her classmates during broom-throwing games.
Everyone sighed: "She’ll be the worst maid in history!"
But the Grandmaster of the Order of the Pure Blades merely chuckled into his mustache: "No. She’ll be a lightning bolt in a silver apron."
And he was right.
When the Thornbeasts — monstrous creatures born of wild chaos — came crashing through the lands, little Linnela, without hesitation, seized the heavy hammer from the honorary altar and smashed the first monster into splinters, her hair whipping wildly in the whirl of dust and light.
She knew no fear, no restraint — only the pure, ecstatic joy of battle.
Now, Linnela is the pride of the Order. Dressed in the elegant garb of a maid, adorned with relics echoing ancient vows, she wanders from village to village.
Wherever Linnela appears, there comes not just salvation, but a fierce celebration: after battle, she teaches children how to whip cream with a hammer ("Easier than cracking a lizard’s skull!"), hosts races with giant teapots, and tells tales so wild that the village elders nearly faint.
Her hammer, "Thunder’s Grace," forged from a fallen fragment of an ancient Regigigas, is not merely a weapon — it’s a living spark, responding to her laughter and fury alike.

you're welcome. FA really had it's couple of attacks through out the years that at least i experienced being here. Most were really small and could be fixed in a very few days except for a very big few ones (the 2016 one i sayed and another one really big in 2009 but i don't have much info on that one)
It's really cool for an artist, but I can honestly understand anyone who is jealous of this event. Damn, 700+ favs is truly legendary. The character is cool, it's true, but damn, it's just a matter of chance.

I can understand. I'm sorry to see that some people are angry at the administration's mistake and spill it out on the artist and they random luck, but to be honest it will be one of the things in my top "what would I do if I could get into the past xD"

Crazy idea: those with some extra money to part with put $5/month into a pot that builds over time. Whoever posts the last submission to FA before it goes into lockdown gets all the money in the pot, hopefully several thousand dollars by that time.

I mean I know part of it sounds silly and there's probably legal issues with it or something but I mean...if it were somehow doable I'd legitimately be willing to up my FA+ cost for it. I mean...I don't miss $5/month, I wouldn't miss $6, or $7, and knowing that someone in the community, someday, is going to get a very nice surprise on TOP of all of the exposure of being FA's "chicken jockey" of the moment? Literally impossible. That's not how the site works, that's not how life works. The unexpected will always unbalance things again. If someone benefits from it, that's called seizing an opportunity. It can't be planned for, or planned around. No one deserves to be punished for the unforeseen working in their favor. Nor should the site be expected to do something to 'make up' for it. If a few dozen users get a temporary boost to attention, they have no obligation to give any boost to the tens of thousands of other users waiting patiently to upload their content. That's just as unfair to the staff. I'm speaking as one of those waiting.
They put the site back up so that people could post journals to promote the other places they might post their art to, to let their followers know where else they might find the people they follow. How do I know? I literally just did that while you were whining. FA has effectively just allowed their users to tell everyone where to go that isn't FA.

What the hell? They're just trying to make a living and their work just so happened to freeze on the front page at a great time. 99% of the time everyone is on "equal footing". This is the most bitter take I've ever seen. Attacking this person isn't going to make your ads any more effective, if you're displeased with the advertisement services FA provides, take it up with them not a random person just trying to get by.
Can you explain to me how they're exploiting a system they can't control? They cant delete their post, they can't change the picture, and the site is in read only mode. There is quite literally nothing they can do.

That's what actually happened, I'm waiting for the opportunity to launch a post and I would describe a lot there. On the other hand, I still wouldn't want to be some kind of stumbling block for other artists. I just happened to be in that place at that very time before the FA collapse. And I try not to think negatively about myself lol

The idea is really great! However, I'm currently planning to visit and stay with my sister, and it will be difficult for me to work on something big while I'm there. It seems to me that even after the site resumes work, you will still remain a legend for a long time, it's funny. I am very sorry that just because of a random expiration of circumstances, along with a lot of attention, a lot of negativity came into your life. I really hope that this will not affect you much and everything will be fine. To be honest, I do not think that you need to write any post explaining the situation simply because even those who are unhappy with something in the comments still understand everything, or they are idiots, and for idiots, there is especially no need to explain anything because they still will not understand and will swear. So just draw, enjoy life, I wish you more inspiration and orders ^^

Interesting to see the effect of the still stand on your work here. This is one of the things which I expected when I saw the front page freeze and I was brought here by curiosity which just got confirmed. The right upload at the right time, I assume. It’s tough to say really! I predict the site will crash again with so many people posting X,D and anything that does get posted will rapidly be lost to the tsunami of posts.. then again, there will probably be the most people actively waiting for new images sooo.. unsure lol
Yeah, to be fair it's normal for us to act strategic about it, FA is probably the only place that brings people genuinely interested in what you do; can't say that for the rest of social media, where it never reaches it's destination unless it's some sort of viral trend.

Me too. I think with Discord's ongoing enshittification there's a good chance there will be a renewed interest in web forums. Or at least I hope. I mean ideally nothing would go wrong and Discord would stay how it is and people would have renewed interests all on their own. But that probably won't happen so this is the next best thing.

Honestly, the big issue with sites with "bigger audience" is that you must turn into a corporate cog to thrive due to algorithms. That's why I often look down on the people that love complaining about FA being dated, they don't get the old way of doing things is the way that allows users to grow being genuine to themselves.
Most of the time there, to succeed you have to adapt, here all you have to do is to be patient and treat your watchers well.

How true is this... and I am so glad that there is no damn AI on FA, which cannot be said about the same DeviantArt or Artstation, unfortunately.... That is why, as soon as I discovered FA, I want to support this project with all my might. After all, it is an island of creativity, real creativity, and not empty dolls generated by neural networks. This is one of the reasons that is not unimportant for me.
