well, you see, he would be killed, then regenerate as a woman, at which point he would be transgendered cuz he would literally be a man in a woman's body. But due to to a tear in the universe, he/she was sucked into an alternate reality while he was investigating. But the Doctor that he was before he got killed continued on in an in the reality he was already in, accept this reality was altered so that he wasnt killed, and in fact is still the same Doctor. So now you have 2 doctors, one who is teaching some students(btw the Doctor who got sucked into the alternate reality took up teaching), and you have one that is saving the universe.
