I do it like this: first comes the underpainting colors with many shades of the basic color you pick. Then I pick this brush with soft edges and with dark and light colors scetch the chunks and then after I pick a small brush with hard edge and do details, with light color^^

You should it is great :-D so many many options and you can paint with every style like acrylic, watercolours and so on^^ No it is not very difficult what you have to learn first is the work with layers I forget it very often xD When I know everything about the program and the possibilities I can tell you all I know^^
