DustyTheKittyCharacter Backstory Ranki was born in a palace, but from her earliest years, she felt like a stranger among silks, rituals, and courtly smiles. While her sisters practiced dance and calligraphy, she would sneak off to the training grounds with the guards, slip into the armory, and secretly spar with the apprentices.
At first, her father dismissed it as a passing rebellion. Later — as a disgrace.
But Ranki never wanted to be a decoration in someone else’s castle. She was interested in something else entirely: how to protect, how to move in battle, how to be honest with herself.
In time, her name spread beyond the palace walls. Common folk told tales of a midnight bandit raid on a caravan — and how, from the shadows, emerged a figure with tiger-like eyes and twin blades. No one knew who she was, but the air afterward carried the scent of blooming orchid.
She has no desire to fight for the throne. Instead, she dreams of building a school — not of titles, but of truth and skill. A place where students are taught not just to fight, but to protect. Where anyone cast aside can become someone.
Now she wanders, seeking students and a place to call home — perhaps even far from her native lands. She no longer wears her clan’s crest, but every step she takes speaks of it louder than any banner ever could.
