Asphodel is a serious minded mage who is focused to the point of fixation on advancing the field of metamagic and modernizing it for the digital automation era. They are also the unlikely parent of Anndara Shardeseer, under the strangest of circumstances.
Asphodel is a quiet but responsible sort, who has been learning to trust themselves to show integrity for the things they once avoided. This also involves becoming more personable and caring for people rather than burying themselves in their studies, and recently, trying to be supportive to Ann, who they were unaware they parented for about 20+ years. (this will be explored more in a future story)
Asphodel is AFAB who became aware of their nonconforming nature in their 20s due to poor relationships and dissatisfaction, being isolated as a serious mage allowed them to realize they needed a change. They later came out as nonconforming and enby and have been trending towards masculine presentation.
