When I introduce myself I say “Photographer.”
When I listen to how people introduce me, they tend to say “Lighting Guy.”
Weird, that.

Just a tree and some weeds in my back yard. Nothing special about the image except it was fun to make.
Lighting: Three total. One monoblock behind the tree with a simple 90-degree reflector on it, aimed pretty much straight at camera, gelled warm. The other in front of the tree high and on the right, in a softbox sans diffuser, gelled cool green. I think there was also a speedlight gelled blue on the left, but its contribution is so small — I still don’t have the knack of blending speedlights and monoblocks.

Pretty cool stuff. Would have liked the fill light to be a little more sidy imo. You used a hard silver reflector right? Good stuff, personally I would like to have experimented with two smaller sourced either side of the tree to complete a rim light all around. But thats just my 2 cents :D
Awesome stuff, made me think ^^
