What happens when the world has completely beaten your emotions? What happens when your previous efforts fell so flat on their face that you can't even try when a new opportunity arises? If your feelings are invalidated by the ones you're supposed to love, why is it so hard to speak up?
Learned helplessness. Weakness. Pathetic.
Being an American, the past couple months have felt like years. It's really hard to be optimistic anymore when so much bad news is shoved in your face (and some family members are gleefully ignorant to all of it). I pray things significantly improve sooner than later...
Oh yeah, and obligatory fuck you to he-who-must-not-be-named and everyone that supports him.

Not only does his family tree have no branches, but if they decided to cut it down and make toilet paper out of it, I’d rather wipe my bum with sandpaper. In other words, to hell with his entire history, including the very vaginal folds his venereal buttocks slithered out of 80 years ago!
And by extension, screw bigotry, authoritarianism, ecocide, climate change denial, white nationalism, gun violence, religious extremism, populism, creationism, allyship with US enemies (such as Russia, North Korea, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Iran, Yemen, Venezuela, Azerbaijan, Nicaragua, Laos, Eritrea, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, etc.), discrimination, epicaricacy, fascism, communism, Nazism, cults of personality and, last but not least, PARTISANSHIP! And fuck any kind of injustice or corruption that comes with all that fuckery!
I’m just glad Republicans and others are learning their lesson and leaving his cult of personality. It sucks it had to come to this for that to happen, but better late than never.
