Ben 10: The Prototype Ulti-Matrix
This is something that I've been meaning to post, but haven't gotten around to it, until now.
I'd imagine that this omnitrix was created by a more empathetic but still narrow minded Albedo, before he was obsessed with out doing Azmuth, and his downfall as a whole. This was made with the leftover scraps from Azmuth's work bench/garbage, as well as a very early prototype for a feature absent from the original omnitrix, a feature able to evolve a DNA sample to its biological conclusion if putting in an simulated endless brutal war in a split second.
Albedo's goal at this point was to make this a sister companion to the prototype omnitrix. With the omnitrix made to promote peace and to preserve all life, while the "Ulti-Matrix" as Albedo calls it, was made just in case a species needed to survive and/or fight back if in a dire situation/cataclysmic event.
But sadly, the prototype ultimatrix was shelved, but not what you might think the reason was. Sure it was more buggy than the omnitrix, shuffling aliens more-so, and its prone to splicing dna on a whim. And not to mention that the cool down for each use wasn't a security precaution, but necessary for its multi core system to not overheat. The reason Albedo stopped was in his haste to make it before Azmuth finished his prototype, when he was rearranging things to make the thing functional he accidentally only added one button to the device, making it a hard right hand only model.
It wouldn't be much of a problem if not for:
1.) He'd have to rearrang so many components if he wanted to fix it, as he had to draw so much power from where the activation button was originally just to put it on his makeshift core
2.) He's left handed.........
Frustrated, he'd shoot the prototype ultimatrix into a black hole, now focusing on just making a 1-1 replica of Azmuth's omnitrix. But what he didn't realize was that with its semi-unstable nature, its massive energy spikes mixed with the black whole made it to where it was sent to another dimension rather than it getting spaghetti-fied.
Where it ended up, no one knows........
