It's a curiosity thing to somewhat understand other peoples aesthetics.

I thought long and hard about whether we needed a ranking table with results and decided that it probably wasn't the most important information and that it might upset some people. That's why I haven't published a ranking in five years. We are interested in the top three places. And the main thing is participation, not victory. Write to me who you are interested in and I will send you the results. I have counted the votes for each participant.

I could understand how people could possibly be upset as it is a voting system so the results should be fair.
However, I do know that one person was asking for votes for their character on social media. Unfortunately then it becomes a popularity contest, not an aesthetic one.

Yes, I understand what you mean! Sometimes I also participate in drawing or photography contests, and I have never won or received any prizes. To be honest, I have never asked people to vote for my work, so I could win. But in any case, all contests boil down to the popularity of the people participating in them and the number of friends who support them. We cannot change this or control it in any way, so I am neutral about it and do not prohibit publishing the contest and encouraging people to vote. Even if we prohibit it, there will be people who will violate it, and this will lead to a scandal, and we have a friendly contest. In my case, when I participate in any competition, it is important for me to show myself and my work, and I enjoy watching top artists rack up votes for themselves. I am not upset at all, because we are showcasing ourselves and our characters, and in my opinion, that is already a personal victory!
