Turns out when you walk over the trap inside the ruin you want to plunder... you have to go out the same rout at some point! Whoever builds these dungeons surely were bad architects, building only one entrance! With Amira unable to aovoid or disarm the trap, there was only one way through.
Then again, she doesn't seem to complain too much about it once she refitted her armor.
